This explains what LinkSchedule collects, why we collect it, and who else sees it. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than legalese.
What we collect
Account details.Your name, email address, and a password that we store only as a bcrypt hash — we never hold the password itself.
Content you create. Drafts, scheduled posts, comments, content pillars, brand voice profiles, and any analytics exports you import.
LinkedIn connection data. If you connect LinkedIn, we store access and refresh tokens, encrypted at rest, plus the account or page identifier needed to publish. We do not read your LinkedIn inbox or connections.
Billing data. If you subscribe, Stripe processes your payment and we store only your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers. We never receive your full card number.
Operational logs. Ordinary server logs, used to keep the service running and to investigate faults.
Why we use it
To run your workspace, publish the posts you schedule, send transactional email such as verification and password resets, take payment for the Pro plan, and diagnose problems. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your content to train AI models.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of processors, each of which sees only what it needs:
Stripe — payments and subscription billing.
LinkedIn — receives the posts you choose to publish.
Anthropic— receives the text of a draft when you use an AI feature, so it can generate a suggestion.
Resend — delivers transactional email.
Render— hosts the application and its database.
We may also disclose data if the law requires it. We will not hand over your content otherwise.
AI features are opt-in per use
AI suggestions only run when you press a button that asks for one. Nothing is sent to an AI provider in the background, and workspace administrators can leave AI features switched off entirely.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is open. Deleting your account from Account & Billing permanently removes your drafts, memberships, and LinkedIn connections. Backups containing deleted data are cycled out within 30 days. We retain billing records for as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
You can export a copy of your data at any time from Account & Billing, and you can delete your account from the same page. Depending on where you live you may also have rights to correct your data or object to how we process it — email seth.queen104@gmail.com and we will help.
Security
Passwords are hashed, LinkedIn tokens are encrypted at rest, sessions use signed httpOnly cookies, and all traffic is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures and will tell affected users promptly if a breach occurs.
Cookies
We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in, plus one that remembers your active workspace. There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies, so there is no consent banner to click through.
